Preserving and Showcasing Material History
The Taylor Archive for Material History began with a sustained engagement with history as it is experienced through place, objects, and daily life. The earliest piece in the collection was acquired in 2003, emerging from an attentiveness to the physical remnants of the past and the quiet weight they carry. What began as an individual practice of observation gradually developed into a focused collection shaped by curiosity, care, and long-term commitment.
We exists to preserve, study, and present historical objects with restraint and clarity. The archive supports research, exhibition, and institutional study. Founded by Taylor Blake with the support Christophe Gisler.
